Here’s a little video of one of the most rewarding days spent recently!

In short, I got a ton of Starbucks giftcards in the mail from friends passing along a website link that I signed up for. Thinking it was spam, I forgot about it. When I came home to $80 in free giftcards, I couldn’t believe it. I figured, “free starbucks for a looong time, holy crap!” til i realized there was probably a more important reason I was given them. So I decided to do something better with them than be greedy and just spoil myself. The employee at Starbucks was so stoked after asking what I was buying all the stuff for that she offered to let me come up 2 times a week now on to get their leftover pastries and do the same with them. :)

This breaks my heart. I hope beyond hope everybody involved is okay. There is nothing worst than the fear of crashing whilst on tour.. it can just happen to anyone. I’ve had anxiety attacks in the past over it. Everyone say a prayer for the guys in Reece involved and I hope they make a full recovery soon.

Today I went to go swimming at the local Y. On the drive over to the pool, I started thinking about different pre-order/packaging ideas for the new cd that I wanted to share with my friend Nathen who works at Lab records. After I got into my suit and all that, I went out to the pool and found that all the lanes were full. I decided to try and get in touch with Nathen as I waited for a lane to open up, the only problem is that Nathen lives in Manchester and it would cost a small fortune for me to call him. Luckily, I was aware that Nathen had unlimited skype calls to the U.S. so I decided to @reply him via twitter via text message and ask him to give me a call. Within minutes, I got a call from a random number, picked up, and it was Nathen.

It’s insane how quickly, and casually you can get in touch with people these days. The world is getting smaller. It’s a crazing/exciting thing.
